Why Hunt Strong?

You were put on this earth to make a difference. You have a gift, a dream to be something to someone. Some may go their entire lifetime and never discover what gift God has intended for them. Let’s face the truth, the healthier you are, the longer you can carry out your dreams and the more lives you can change. Who wouldn’t want to be a better mom, dad, role model, preacher, engineer, doctor, etc.? Don’t let your health ruin your gift.

The Hunt Strong Mentality:

There are two types of instincts in this world; The Hunter Instinct and The Scavenger Instinct. Two complete opposites of one another.

The Hunter instinct is having that mentally focused desire to want something so bad you can’t stand it. Hunters will do anything to conquer their goals. There are no doubts or second guesses in their mind. They are ready to overcome obstacles as they arise. Hunters are “go getters” continually learning from all aspects to better themselves. They look at food as fuel and understand everything they consume. They question situations, products, routines, skeptics and marketing tactics so they understand the purpose. If it makes them better, they do it.

The scavenger instinct is not having a clue where or when you will have your next meal. What scavengers eat has no purpose in their lives. They never question the products they consume. Their basic need is to survive, the concept of thriving is too farfetched for them to believe possible.  Scavengers eat in response to hunger, and are desperate to find meals, usually relying on something or someone else. They have lost touch or never had control of their situation. In today’s world, a scavenger is better known as a “drive-thru regular”.

But I am Not a Hunter:

Everyone has the hunter instinct in them, it’s just a matter of digging deep and finding it. If you question what you eat by reading food labels and ingredients, guess what? You Hunt Strong. If you think out situations and plan accordingly, you Hunt Strong. If you want the best for you, your family, and friends, you Hunt Strong. It’s about continually staying on the hunt. Every day is another day to make a difference.

Discover your Hunter Instinct and book your journey.

Proverbs 12:27 “The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.”

Client Feedback

I grew up competing on the national level in the sport of dance, so I have always lived an athletic and competitive lifestyle.  But it wasn’t until I watched Davie transform himself through our college years together that it started to sink in with what it means to be truly healthy; both inside and out.

The hard part about writing a testimony for anyone is that there is no good place to start. Usually that person has impacted you in a way that is impossible to put into words. So, with that said, I will start with right now. As I sit here typing this in my hotel room I will tell you what I just did. I cooked my breakfast of egg whites and chicken breast on my portable griddle that I travel with. This may sound crazy to everyone and it even sounded crazy to me (still does a little) before I met Davie.

In January 2011, I hit a wall in life. I was looking in the mirror one morning and said, “I can’t stand to look at myself anymore”. Over the past 14 years somehow I had managed to go from a 220 pound gym rat to an almost 300 pound slacker. With a 6’3” frame, no one really called me “fat” but deep down I knew that I was slowly killing myself.

I am not a “hunter” by conventional terms but through training with Davie I have re-defined what “hunter” means to me.

I am a Mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend, and a professional.   In these roles I am a “hunter”; I seek to be the best I can be so I can give my best to those I love.
