I am all about keeping it simple and for the most part, the meals I make are 30 minutes or less. Here is an example of how I usually cook broccoli.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
2 bags of Broccoli florets (I usually buy them already cut up)
extra virgin olive oil
sea salt
black pepper
garlic powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees on bake. Using a non-stick cookie sheet, place the broccoli florets out evenly on the pan. Drizzle lightly with extra virgin olive oil. Then season with sea salt, black pepper, & garlic powder. Place on the top rack in your oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes and serve.You will never look at broccoli the same. Eat up and Flex like The Jolly Green Giant!
Note: The more crunchy, the more nutritious, the better. The more you cook the broccoli, the more nutrients/fiber being diminished.
